I guess I should have said something earlier, before I disappeared for a few days, but I was on college visits and didn't get a chance to do my nails while I was away! Sorry about that, but I'll be back posting tomorrow!

NOTD: Color Club Worth the Risque
Light silver holographic. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Color Club holos have a VERY subtle, almost not noticeable holographic effect. Nevertheless, any color with holographic glitter will look good even if the effect is barely there. The formula is very good (I think this is just a general trait of holos) and goes on nice and clean.

NOTD: Sinful Colors Nail Junkie
Large, multicolored glitter in a teal jelly base. Reflects yellow, orange, blue and green. The formula is kind of annoying because it is thick and gooey but VERY sheer, so this was about 6 coats and it's still not opaque. This is also a HUGE layer of paint, comes 1mm up off the nail, with all the topcoat required to get it smooth. It's a cool color, but it's not really worth it in my opinion.

NOTD: Milani Silver Dazzle
Sorry I didn't post for the past couple of days, I've been soo busy and haven't had a chance to do my nails until now! Anyway, holy crap, this color is AMAZING! It's chock full of grey, silver and black glitter (the chunky kind, so it requires the gelous topcoat and seche vite to make it smooth). The black glitter adds depth and dimension to it and the grey and silver are SO sparkly. The formula is opaque in 2 coats, even though these are advertised as one coat glitters, but that's quite alright by me! With the many coats of topcoat that are required to make it smooth, it does get to be a bit thick on your nail, but I'd rather have it be thick than bumpy.
Unfortunately none of the Milani one coat glitters are sold in stores anymore because it was a limited holiday collection. (maybe you can get them online? I would definitely do that if I didn't have them!)

NOTD: Hot Topic Purple Iridescent Nail Polish
This is, believe it or not, one of my favorite Polishes in my collection! It is absolutely AMAZING! It's a purple jelly base with tons of sparkly flecks that flash purple and blue, depending on the light. It's kind of like Sally Hansen Laser except the base for that is blue, so it appears more blue than purple, and the base for this is purple, so it appears more purple than blue. Unfortunately any purple with blue in it always photographs as blue, so the pictures aren't entirely accurate. I'd say the second picture is the one that shows the color best, especially at the bottom of the bottle.
The formula for all hot topic nail polishes is not so great, they tend to get very thick and unusable after a while. Also, the brush is VERY hard to paint with, so I transferred the polish to another bottle with a better brush and kept the old bottle for picture purposes. At first the formula is fine, though; mine just looks very thick because I've had it for so long and used it so many times. It's opaque in 2 coats.

NOTD: Milani Pool Party
This polish is very true to its name: it looks just like pool water! It's a nice light blue-green that reeeally makes me want it to be summer. The formula is a bit sheer and amounts to a rather thick and gooey layer. I find that that happens with a lot of Milani nail polishes.
The first picture was taken outside with no flash (very overcast) and the second was taken inside with flash.

NOTD: Zoya Ivanka
AMAZING color!! I love Zoya! This is a dark green jelly base with tons and tons of rich green glass flecks. Soo sparkly and reflective. The formula, of course, is great too; opaque in 3 coats and very easy to handle.
The first and last pictures were taken in shade with no flash and the middle picture was taken in bright, direct sunlight. (something that hasn't been seen for quite some time, with all these snow storms!)

NOTD: Zoya Sarah
Recently, Zoya had a facebook sale where if you used a code, you got to choose 3 free nail polishes. I ordered Tangy, Zara, Dovima, Savita, Ivanka, Charla, Mimi, Crystal, and Sarah (I bought 6 of them). I thought it was so nice of Zoya to do such a huge promotion, I mean 3 free nail polishes to ALL of their facebook fans?! that's ridiculous! So, thank you so much Zoya!
Here's the first color of the Zoyas that I got that I'm swatching (the others will come eventually, not all at once). It's a sparkly, glass-flecked raspberry-red. It flashes between being a sparkly red that looks like China Glaze's Ruby Pumps to a gorgeous deep raspberry, all the while having some subtle gold flecks thrown in as well. The formula is perfection as well; it's opaque in one coat, but I used two just to even it out for photo purposes, and I found it outstandingly easy to handle, it doesn't run and isn't too dry and it is so easy to create a perfect shape because of this.
I definitely give this polish and A+! Soo perfect!
the first two pictures are taken with no flash outside. They don't really capture the sparkliness, something that I find is hard to capture in pictures of red nail polish, but they do capture the color well. The last color is taken inside with flash and captures the sparkles somewhat more.

NOTD: NYC Love Me Red Creme
Pretty standard metallic red-pink with a lighter pink shimmer to it. These types of colors always look so appealing in the bottle, but I never really like them on my nails. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the color, it's just my opinion! Pretty good formula, for NYC, though just about every single brand of nail polish has this color, so of course there are better formulas for it out there, if you're willing to spend more than the one dollar it takes to buy NYC! This is 4 coats, a tad sheer.

NOTD: Color Club Wild at Heart
Really pretty, velvety looking purple. As in all Color Club Holos, the holographic effect isn't visible, but the glitter gives it a certain depth and richness that doesn't occur in other polishes.
Of course, because it's a holographic glitter formula, it is very easy to put on, opaque in one coat and just generally a very easy polish to handle.

NOTD: China Glaze Emerald Sparkle
Emerald green with beautiful green glitter all the way through, super sparkly and pretty! The formula is very smooth and easy to work with for a glitter polish, opaque in 3 coats. For the topcoat, I used one coat of Gelous (can be purchased at Sally Beauty) and one coat of Seche Vite to make it completely smooth since there is glitter that can cause bumpiness in this.
This photo was taken outside (overcast) with no flash.
This photo was taken inside, next to a window, with flash. So sparkly! I love it!!
